Lies our Nigerian parents told their kids.

Nigerian parents are very smart. They tell lies stories to get their children on the obedience path or to look really good in their eyes. Children on the other hand are inquisitive and gullible.

Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the globe.

It's really been an eventful period for me, such is life! Sometimes it's smooth sailing while other times its a bit bumpy, but with God by my side who is the giver of wisdom and knowledge will guide me through.

I really looked forward to this holiday so I can have some real quality time for my Internet to blog and catch up on all I missed. What did I miss precisely? Please send me direct links in the comment session.

Here is wishing all my  Muslim friends and blog visitors a wonderful Sallah celebration. May this celebration bring more peace to the world especially all Islam bodies and communities.

Abeg who kill ram make I come with my multitude come chop Sallah meat?

Would you test your partner's fidelity with your friend?

Hey blog readers please accept my sincere apologies for not publishing any post all week, the stress odi too much..lol. Schools have resumed and ofcos I double as a working Mom and wife and lesson teacher to my kids as well. I rather do certain things for and with my kids rather than delegate or pay someone else to do if for me. I hope i'm forgiven.

So, straight to the question of the day: Would you test your partner's fidelity with your friend? I ask this because a recent situation played out among some university girls and before the original girlfriend could say jack Robinson her friend  was already sharing invitation cards. Well, not everyone could be such a betrayal to their friends.

Over to you all, would you go such extra mile to test your spouses fidelity?

His first day in school!

It's schools resumption week and I had to take my first kid to school, it was such an emotional moment for me as he will be living in school as boarder, I won't get to see my baby for a month as we are only allowed to visit them once in a month‎. Ironically the little dude was excited, his excitement was out of this world. He has been arranging his suitcase for close to a month and the suitcase sleeps on the bed with him...lol.
He'd ask all the silliest questions concerning living in school and I never failed to tell him what he should expect and emphasized the need to be an obedient student and cleanliness is next to Godliness.

DAY 1 IN SCHOOL.
First thing on monday morning‎ we were at the school premises waiting to be welcomed by the school authority,

Which team are you on? Team snoop or dont snoop?!

In this day and age, they say a smartphone says a lot about a person than words of mouth. So in a relationship(any kind of relationship), is going through your partner's phone/laptop/device  advisable ?

Another vent yet again....ugh!

This is yet another vent from the stables of "A naija mom's diary". I am very angry for real at this particular GSM network provider who prides themselves with the green color, yes! I mean the glo network in Nigeria.
