About to get my groove back....

Yesterday was an eventful day for my family, DH and I took the kids out to celebrate each of their academic success and to have some family time and fun. We did a bit of shopping at a mall and had some fries and pizza then proceeded to a play park.

While the kids took to their favorite games at the park, DH and I sat down to have some drinks and kept on with our gist. I couldn't remember the last time we had such a private time where we discussed nothing but where both happy in each others arms, where we would just be alone and not worry about the kids for a minute.

I missed those days when we newly got married and on weekends we treat ourselves to a nice weekend get away. On a good Friday we pack our small luggage and head to a nearby town and lodge in an hotel, get good spa treatments, ‎try out new dishes and have wonderful sex all weekend long.

Sadly, we've lost touch with that exciting adventure of our lives with the kids that came in between. You wouldn't blame us much, would you?

I called mama this morning to tell her my kids are coming over to spend some time with her after I discussed with DH I missed the just "us" time we used to have several years ago. He suggested we take the kids to his Mom for 2weeks so he makes his woman happy. *winks*.

We hope to take a 10days casual leave, drive the kids to mama's place, go to some nice place for the weekend, return home and enjoy the quiet moment without the kids, blog, eat, have loads of sleep and sex and just be a happy mother of 4 wonderful kids .

Just because you are married shouldn't stop you from having fun with your spouse, we all understand the demand from work and kids can be overwhelming but never forget to make yourself happy as well, find time to have quality sex with your spouse and relax to discuss all the beautiful things on your minds. ‎

Have a wonderful week ahead muah!!

  4. It's nice to re-centre. My marriage is dead. Yes he is trying to win me back, I really wish I could, but trust is missing. I am afraid we will fall into the same pattern as before and I will hurt even badly.
