Hey readers, how you all doing?
I haven't forgotten about the blog and you all. I lost all my files in my device due to virus. Some posts i drafted are all gone.
I'm currently working on how to to draft new posts, please y'all should bear with me.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Drafted posts got lost? How is that? Anyways sorry about that. We will be waiting for our mommy

It's not drafted posts on blogger dashboard but on docs to go(like the Microsoft Word) . I usually draft my posts there since its easier to open than my blogger dashboard, when done I copy and paste to my "create a post" for publishing.
Deletendo.. oh...

Pele NM - I can only imagine how distressing that is..... You saved your drafts on your PC/laptop and they were lost when it crashed abi? Choi!! The pain!! Pele!! I have been down that route twice and know the pain.
ReplyDeleteI have lost 2 external hard drives and all the documents in them at certain points in time. The first time, I was just telling myself "If my external hard drive should spoil making me lose all my documents and pishures, I will just die!! External Hard drives had just come into the market and it was one of those ones you plugged to electricity. I went to move it from one table to another, I must have tugged too hard cos I just heard "krank, krank, krank" and behold, my PC would not recognise it any more. Lost over 150GB and 4 years worth of pishures and documents. Oh the pain!! Had to start all over again.....
The second time (happened last year), my PC was coughing so I tried to install anti virus or PC cleaner (something along those lines) the new hard drive I was using was connected to the PC. I didnt know that was a hazard. Well, according to IT people, the hard drive thought my PC was being attacked and put passwords in all my files. I attempted to open the docs and it was telling my to enter password for each file I attempted to open. But how I wan take do that kin magic when no be me put the password? Another 300GB and 7 years worth of documents and pishures gone with the wind. These things are not faithful jo!! I now have a third external drive but I am still searching for a safe and fail proof way of storing my documents and precious pishures. May thunder abi lightening not strike a third time oh!!
PS: I still have the hard drives and I am hoping for a miracle. My cousin once told me if you store the spoilt hard drive in the freezer for a couple of hours, it will come back to life. I dont know why I have not tried that yet. Kept on meaning to but life kept on happening :)
Chai! Lost files have really dealt you hard blows. So sorry dear. DH suggested I open an email and send all my drafts and important pics and docs into it for safe keeping.
ReplyDeleteI think I will just do that.
Waoooo. Its ok you'll sort things out in no time.Cheers
