My precious rag... lol.

I was supposed to post this last night but after revision with each an everyone of my kids
since this is exam week in most schools, I was so tired and couldn't round up the post.

Here it is, most of us have that one cloth we love so much, it's usually an old cloth but just because it's either so comfy, the kind of fabric its made from or it's always just the first you see when you open your wardrobe.

I have this particular shirt, damn! I'm in love with it. I'll list the reasons why I said I'm in love with it.
1. It's cotton fabric
2. Easy to wash and wear
3. Somehow it is always the first I see when I want to put on a cloth.

Now the problem is these, the shirt is worn out but I can't leave it, so worn out it's got holes in them. Ngwa, trash it into the bin nau...I just see myself wearing it again after promising my self I'll do just that once I wear it for the last time.
What hasn't DH said about it? He calls it a rag and belongs to the bin....lol. seriously, I need divine intervention to get rid of the shirt.

See the pictures above, that's the shirt that I can't let go and it's about 5years old. It's originally purple colour but due to old age and over washing its now....i don't know what colour to call it sef. On the brighter side I don't wear it out of the house before una cus me...lol, it's more like my night wear and hey! Naija mom is just your regular Naija mother no famzing biko...lol.
So, who has such in his or her cloth collections?

See you all later, I'm off to the clinic for routine check up, it's very necessary for every woman who has birthed multiple kids. Auto comment is back but please no drama. I love you all! Muah!

  1. Naija mom - trash, trash, trash - no matter how well loved. Oga was sentimentally attached to a tshirt like that whichhad a worn out neck. I hated seeing it on him but hw would not let go. My remedy - hide it from his view.

I will send a memo to your oga. that shirt needs to be hidden from you.

  7. I laugh seriously when i saw this....but please you have to let it go, you are a mother and your kids are watching you, please for their sake just let it go and please listen to you DH because each time you are wearing that your lovely rag he is the one wearing. you know two shall be come one.

but yeah i know that feeling ....just like when someone want to use one your old cloths as rag and you refused. wear? nowhere! okay burn them nah...hahahah impposicant. I can't say give it out because is already worn out.

solution: burn them, and do just a little cool shopping.alright? hey....i know you love them....but your kids are watching o.*laughing*

  11. My own is shoes and undies oh.
When I was going for service, I labelled it: do not touch please.
I don't even wear them again but I just look at them and I'll be happy.
I had one knicker skirt while growing up that I wore every other day. My mum begged me to throw it away, for where? One day she burnt it before I came back from school. I still miss my skirt *wipes lone tear*
Rock your top abeg, this one no follow for poverty or disobedience. Udo

  13. Thank God I'm not in this alone..... There's a particular sandal I'm addicted to... I've bn wearing it for the past 4years and I can't stop wearing it even tho its so old. My bestie threw it away one time like that but I found it in d bin and I washed my sandal jejely and I wore it with confidence. It's not that I don't have shoes o, Infact I'm a shoe freak and I've got over 40pairs but I just can't let dat particular sandal go. Even my mum is tired of complaining
